Reid State “Lions” Join NJCAA and ACCC

Evergreen, Ala. – Reid State Technical College announced on May 4 that they will join the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC).

Reid State President, Dr. Coretta Boykin, shared that men’s and women’s golf, men’s basketball, and E-sports will be added in fall 2023. 

Reid State will compete against various opponents within the ACCC and NJCAA. 

Reid State is partnering with the City of Evergreen (AL) for its basketball venue. Their home-court is found in the newly renovated Evergreen Jr. High School gym recently refinished and re-branded by Covington professionals over the Summer of 2023.
