Houston “Rockets” Training Facility

The Memorial Hermann Houston Rockets Training Center, a premier facility where the Houston Rockets hone their skills, now features the innovative Robbins “MVP” flooring system, installed by Covington. Known for their expertise in professional sports facilities, Covington has also recently installed floors for the New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs practice facilities, further establishing its reputation for quality. In addition to the NBA teams, Covington has recently installed several prestigious NCAA Division II arenas, including Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and Rice University.

The Robbins MVP flooring system is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of NBA training. Designed with a focus on athlete health, the MVP floor provides critical damping to reduce muscle fatigue and mitigate the risk of injury related to muscle overuse. This advanced flooring system combines optimal traction and shock absorption, creating a training environment that prioritizes player safety and performance.

Memorial Hermann’s dedication to excellence in health and wellness aligns seamlessly with Covington’s innovative approach to athletic flooring. By incorporating the MVP system, the Houston Rockets Training Center stands as a top-tier facility that not only enhances athletic performance but also safeguards player health, establishing it as a model of high-performance sports facility design.
